RvB fleet event draws in over 300 pilots into massive fight in 9UY4-H and Y-MPWL

A major battle in 9UY4-H  involved more than 300 pilots as a part of the RvB event in the system.

Provi camped the gate in a armor T3 fleet with T2 Logi support. As soon as the HERO Eagle fleet (supported by a bomber and ewar fleet) jumped into system provi brought in triage. HERO took heavy logi losses and had to reposition. As soon as HERO warped off rvb ganked entered the field with an arty abaddon fleet supported by T2 logi.

CFC & RUS Clash With N3 in A-CJGE

Around 1800 eve time on the 18th January 2015 a fight was sparked between members of the Russian Stainwagon and the N3 Coalition alliances.

The fight started with Nulli Secunda and Stainwagon having a throw down as the Russian alliances try to gain space in the Esoteria region of Null Sec space. Nulli Secunda were responding to the fact that the Russian alliances had reinforced two of their R64 towers in A-CJGE. To defend these towers, Nulli Secunda formed up a fleet of Rattlesnakes with Scimitar and tackle support and Chimera carriers on standby. Other N3 alliances also formed in support of the Nulli Secunda fleet, the Darkness/Kadeshi formed up in their Ishtar fleet with assorted support wings of tackle and logistics.

The "Richer Than God" Players Could Upset The Game. . .Or Can They?

Grevlon Goblin, well known as one of the richer players in EVE Online, has recently published a blog post detailing his self-funded campaign to attack and damage to CFC.  It paints an interesting picture about the potential effect of massive piles of wealth on even the most powerful entities.

CFC Vs. N3 in WY-9LL

Yesterday, Northern Coalition. (NCdot) successfully tackled a group of Clusterfuck Coalition (CFC) dreads in WY-9LL, who were trying to reinforce a POS. The initial tackle of NCdot was done by a group interdictors but not long after, the main NCdot fleet, consisting of proteus strategic cruisers, entered the field.
CFC already had an armor doctrine Battleship fleet ready to rumble if things went south for their dreadnaughts and they also entered the field, and so the fight started. Darkeshi (DARKNESS. and The Kadeshi broliance) showed up in their Legion strategic cruiser doctrine, making the fight for the CFC even tougher.

CFC chose to primary the N3 logistic cruisers and this proved to be the best choice they could have made, as they were able to claim victory as the combined N3 forces quit the field. CFC also won the fight based on ISK destroyed.

CFC Pushes NC. out of Y-2ANO

With the station flipping in LBGI-2, N3 got a foothold in Fountain. It was a psychological victory as the station is not being used as a new forward operating base, continuing to stage out of Delve (M2-XFE) instead. NCdot planted a tower in Y-2ANO and staged their supercarriers there. This would be NCdot’s iron club to bash down CFC infrastructure in Fountain.

The CFC got wind of this and targeted the tower for destruction.  They titan-bridged their battleship fleet: Dominix-class battleships with a few special Amarr Navy Apocalypse (NaPocs) to augment DPS. The Dominix is a Gallente battleship that specializes in a heavy armor tank and vast drone bay. The large tanks keep the ships operable giving time for their drones to do their work.

The CFC deployed their drones and waited. Hundreds of sentry drones surveyed the dark space surrounding them. They aimed at the tower and went to work bashing it down. Destroying this tower would leave NCdot supercarrier pilots vulnerable to attack once they logged on and auto-warped back to a foreign tower that would repel their entry.  CFC would watch this location close and immediately trap any supercarrier bouncing off the large force field of the tower.

NCdot/Darkeshi v. CFC in LBGI-2

In the system of  LBGI-2, CFC forces squared off with various NC. groups on November 23rd.  This skirmish marks another in the long line of setbacks for the CFC after both NC. and Black Legion began open hostilities in both the northern and southern regions of CFC SOV a few weeks earlier.

VENGEANCE IN VENAL – Black Legion vs CFC

The clashes between CFC and BL in Venal have now reached a new apex, in a clash over 2 moons recently.  Both sides fielded large Tengu fleets, with Black Legion bringing slightly more of the now-ubiquitous ships while the CFC supported theirs with triage Chimeras and a moderate-sized “Boot” fleet of Archons. The battle itself was over two “money” moons in the 8CIX system, one belonging to Black Legion and another to Out-of-Sight, a Russian alliance living in Venal who are allied with BL.

RAZOR Alliance Loses 2 Systems to Supercell

Phoebe seems to have opened up fronts for smaller alliances to attack. Supercell, formerly a renter alliance of Brothers Of Tangra and Shadow of xXDeathXx, are one of these alliances.
A week ago, RAZOR Alliance managed to capture HB-5L3 which connects Tenal to Cobalt Edge. Supercell, who live close to this system knew that it was time for them to stake a claim and plant their flag because their corporations weren’t making any revenue as they sat.
They knew that RAZOR would likely have difficulty defending the structures as they onlined, so Supercell started forming small groups of bombers. With these small fleets they started performing their ”Stealth-bomber terror”. SBUs that were in system were engaged and took damage with no retort from RAZOR.
Supercell decided that the SBUs weren’t enough and started look for something else to hit while RAZOR was either occupied elsewhere or was otherwise unresponsive. The TCU popped up into their minds and so they went to town.

They successfully downed the TCU with no answer from RAZOR. This kindled the alliance’s members’ bloodthirst – they wanted more. This excitement was focused into action; Supercell patiently initiated the construction of 60 battleships which they would use to reinforce the system’s IHUB.
Time passed and eventually the battleships came out of build with no sign of RAZOR coming to defend their holdings. Supercell members quickly bought the battleships off the market. The battleships were sold so quickly that, soon enough, they were able to field their latest fleet concept; a mix of Abaddons, Ravens and Dominixes with a wing of Catalysts as escort and additional DPS.

A fleet was formed, members joined and they all flew over to the IHUB preparing to fight a possible RAZOR defense fleet. They started attacking the IHUB, but again there was no response from RAZOR alliance….


The IHUB went into reinforced and Supercell members, who had previously seen themselves as just simple renters, began to see themselves as an alliance which can engage in sov warfare with one of the oldest entities in the game, and were now looking forward with dour-eyed determination, ready to do whatever it takes to capture a system they could call their own.

However, it didn’t all go Supercell’s way. While attacking the TCUs the alliance brought their battleship fleet with a wing of Catalysts as escort. Out of the 82 Catalysts that Supercell fielded they lost every single one and also managed to lose a Raven and an Abaddon. This was not to a RAZOR Fleet, or indeed any fleet. The losses came courtesy of a Minmatar POS Tower with a lone RAZOR Malediction pilot manning the guns.

I tracked down Dograzor, one of the Razor Alliance’s diplomatic contacts. They confirmed that two of their spare SBUs were destroyed but refused to comment whether they will defend against Supercell’s aggression or form to defend the IHUB when its reinforcement timer ends.

Whether or not this has anything to do with the recent loss of the Repercussus [-R.P-] corp, which included a lot of their USTZ members and one of RAZOR alliances’ main USTZ FCs, is something on which RAZOR would also not comment. However, until RAZOR field a fleet in the USTZ and commit to a fight we will not know how this has affected their alliance.

Black Core Alliance Lose Station Egg in Querious

On Nov. 11th, a station egg was lost in the Querious region. This was apparently the work of a small contingent of CFC pilots known as the "Reavers". Who've been operating in N3 space for a while as a smash and grab guerrilla force. However, this is still speculative as no one has officially confirmed their existence.
As this station egg has been destroyed it would make it the 6th one ever destroyed in EVE’s history. The egg was attacked near downtime, by CFC forces, and as the fight progressed, PL forces (who are blue to the egg owning entity Black Core Alliance) arrived with an Ishtar fleet to defend the egg.
Their efforts were in vain as the egg was destroyed of course. PL appeared to get bored and left before the egg was destroyed, allowing the CFC to once again resume shooting it. At this time shortly after downtime, the egg had hit a low of 27% structure.

There are also reports that HERO had also been on field shooting the egg for a short time.
This op was ultimately the work of a spy in BCA. Which should impart a valuable lesson to all, opsec is kind of important.

BL VS CFC in W6PV-Y

Late in the evening on the 10th November 2014 a small fight occurred between Black Legion. and members of the Clusterfuck Coalition.
Black Legion. set themselves up at engagement range from the IMK-K1 gate in W6VP-Y, put up HIC bubbles and waited for the CFC forces to jump in.  Black Legion. had already set up a cyno inhibitor on the gate to counter any possible CFC escalation and all logistics had the cyno inhibitor pre locked.

At the end of the video you can hear Elo Knight, head FC of Black Legion. calling for Titans etc to be logged in. This is due to Glibbs in his Archon being caught 30km off the gate due to a bubble, which had gone down while he was in warp, but STILL catches him off the gate.
Elo Knight, thinking of the rest of the fleet, leaves Glibbs to his doom and instructs them to jump to 3A1P-N. However on the other side of the gate a lone Sabre Interdictor bubbles the large Black Legion. fleet, including the rest of the Carriers. The Interdictor dies but his bubble remains. Intel from Glibbs and the Interceptors in Q-CAB2 say that the CFC have brought in Supers and a couple of Titans.
Thats when Elo Knight gives the call for BL Titans to log on, anticipating the CFC fleet coming through to take down the tackled carriers and Tengu fleet.

They destroy Glibbs, but while that is happening a lone Loki Strategi Cruiser, with a single medium smartbomb manages to destroy the Sabres bubble. An emergency cyno is lit in H-PA29 and the order comes for the Carriers to jump. The rest of the fleet wait for the last carrier to safely jump out then casually warp off and set destination to home.
While not the largest fight in EvE, the fact that the CFC missed a chance to take out a number of the Black Legion. Carriers makes it interesting. It also highlights that you should never laugh at a medium smart bomb in your fleet, it saved a lot of ISK in potential losses last night!
In W6VP-Y the battle report indicates a roughly 2 billion ISK win for Black Legion. over the CFC however if you then take into account the loss of Glibbs Archon in QCAB-2  which was valued at 1.7b in ISK then you come out pretty flat in the ISK lost battle.

LEAK: RAZOR Alliance Loses Big US Corp

In the next couple of days Repercussus [-R.P-], one of the main US time zone corps in RAZOR Alliance, will be leaving.

This is a significant piece of information because members of that corp include Troyd23 (one of the sitting Troika), one of the <-RZR-> top US TZ military commanders and also one of the <-RZR-> head diplomats.
[-R.P-] also makes up a huge chunk of the current <-RZR-> US TZ and they most likely won’t be able to field as many fleets in that time zone without them. In fact, so far in November the corporation has been involved with over 23 billion worth of kills.
This is confirmed intel directly from the [-R.P-] corp leadership and their plan is to join Goonswarm Federation
The reason for the move is unhappiness over the current state of affairs in <-RZR-> and dissatisfaction with the organizational structure as a whole. I spoke to Dograzor, Diplomat for <-RZR-> alliance and he gave this statement on their behalf;

We are confirming that RP is leaving RAZOR Alliance on friendly terms, we will miss them and we hope that their decision works out for the best for all that are involved.

When asked about the reasons given by [-R.P-] for the move, Dograzor said that RAZOR Alliance would not comment on their internal affairs.
In my opinion Repercussus moving from <-RZR-> to Goonswarm will be a minor adjustment at most and will likely just involve switching comms and restationing with their fellow GSA corps. They will still be part of the CFC and have access to all that entails.
However if <-RZR-> are still trying to prove their prowess both in EvE and as a valuable full member of the CFC then losing this type of active USTZ PVP corp from their ranks will undoubtedly hurt. Whether or not this opens the gates for other corps to leave all depends whether the other corps in <-RZR-> are having the same type of issues that Repercussus has been having with <-RZR->.

Also of note, the person who is responsible for maintaining and paying for all of the <-RZR-> online infrastructure is stepping down and will most likely be quitting EvE for the foreseeable future. This person is not a member of [-R.P-] and it is unknown who will be taking this responsibility in the future. Dograzor of RAZOR alliance could neither confirm nor deny this information.

N3 Renters Refocused But Still Make Mistakes

Early on the 7th November 2014 a message went out from LadyScarlet of the Northern Coalition. alliance that was meant for the entirety of their renter alliance, Northern Associates.

Northern Coalition. are currently stationed in Querious and are concentrating on the local area and Period Basis, having taken a number of systems, and they are making good headway into securing the patch for themselves and the N3 as a whole. However, they are meeting resistance from alliances like Fatal Ascension, Get Off My Lawn and C0VEN, who also live within a couple of regions of Querious.

As NC. makes headway in Querious and other regions post-Phoebe, and as some of it's alliance score victories against their rival CFC, some people are taking losses.  It seems NC. has finally acknowledged the role renter groups can play in an overall war effort.

When asked whether the attacking of hostile SBU's should be the focus solely of N3's PVP alliances, or the task should be split, had this to say:

Well, you first have to understand Omist and so on is N3 space not just NC. space.
NC. is predominantly around Querious/Period Basis and so on. That doesn’t mean we won’t help but we also have russians to deal with in our own area of operation. Nulli Secunda and the other N3 groups are around omist and are dealing with that side of things.

Many of our renters ask what they can do to help out with the war effort. Obviously shooting enemy Sovereignty Blockade Units is the biggest and most simple thing they can do, because many aren’t pvp corps and we wouldn’t want them needlessly dying to stuff they can’t defend against.


This makes perfect sense. There is no reason to divide your forces if you don't have to.  Focusing it's primary PVP elements on engaging the CFC directly, while allowing other groups to pick off easier targets is a solid plan, if it works.

This task delegation can be accomplished by less experienced pilots in cheaper ships, so why not unleash the dogs?  There is one crucial issue.

Logistics.

The over extension of N3 supply lines and it's capital/supercapital assets is a real danger.  Especially given that the careful positioning of rapid response forces is now a vital element of holding SOV, these ships and pilots are absolutely necessary for meaningful ops in SOV null.

This posses a problem of having these assets in the wrong hands and those hands could end up losing them in combat.  Forcing the diversion of resources to replace those lost assets that could be better used elsewhere.The potentially dangerous mix of replacing assets lost on low priority targets makes over extension a real hazard for SOV holding entities.  This move by N3 is expected to be mirrored by other entities to minimize unnecessary losses.

One loss that occurred just after LadyScarlet sent her mail regarding the careful use of capital assets was a Nyx belonging to Lingua Mortis, of Combat Matous, Northern Associates., destroyed by a 70 man CFC Ishtar/other stuff gang in L-AS00 in Omist. There are suggestions that he may have been shooting an SBU at the time of his destruction, however I have been unable to verify this and when asked, LadyScarlet said she had no information about the Nyx loss or it’s activities at the time.



It has been rumoured recently that a small gang of CFC pilots have created what has become known as a ‘Reaver’ gang, with the sole purpose of getting behind the N3 lines to disrupt their ISK making in certain regions while also taking pot-shots at POS in the area to generate annoying notifications for the owners.
Whether or not this kill proves the existence of a ‘Reaver’ gang or whether it is merely evidence that Phoebe has brought back the art of roaming for kills rather than sitting on a titan is still up for debate. One thing is certain: winter is coming.

Nulli Secunda and it's success post-Phoebe, and a failure in Feythabolis

As N3 alliance Nulli Secunda was busy helping N3 expand it's holdings in other regions, it's CSAA's in DB1R-4 and ZS-2LT were attacked by a combined force of CFC pilots on October 31st.

Another strike in the system of DB1R-4 on November 2nd was spearheaded by soviet-Union and others.

With the loss of 3 CSAA's Nulli has comparatively lost little against what it's gained in successes in the last week.  As nothing was in build at the time of the destruction of these modules, there was only the loss of a few billion ISK to compensate for.


As most of Nulli's defensive fleets were either engaging CFC in northern areas of New Eden at the time along with Black Legion and Gentleman's Club, or were moving assets in preparation for the move to Impass, the most S2N could muster was a fleet of Archons, 20 in number to be exact.  And as the CFC Ishtar fleet was able to overwhelm reps on the tower and even bring down one Archon, S2N seems to have the decision of no longer defending the CSAA's or their POS'.

AS the CFC and anti-CFC forces settle after the hubbub of Phoebe, it still remains to be seen exactly what New Eden will look like.  Although my instincts tell me that as N3 moves southward, the shift in power will create a few new faces in the SOV game.

Why defensive SBUs are important!

In what can only be described as an attempt at trolling in EVE, Fatal Ascension somehow forgot to online SBUs in a staging system to slow down a SOV offensive from their enemies.  As a result, some TEST members were able to essentially sneak in and attempt to online an SBU, forcing FA to destroy said SBU.

The system of 6VDT-H is well known for being one of the final battles of the now infamous "Fountain War".  In which nearly every major nullsec alliance were involved in blowing each others shit up.  And during this time, FA were able to gain SOV over the system from TEST.

The resulting slapfight between elements of HERO and the CFC only destroyed about 2 Billion ISK in assets, and was very much a rout for HERO.  But as there was essentially zero point to this move beyond hilarity for possibly drunken pilots, I'd say it was more than worth it.

In all likely hood this will just pass by without any wider repercussions, but one can hope for this being the catalyst for other chicanery throughout CFC space. /sarcasm.

Black Legion./N3/PL vs. CFC in 4-ABS8

CFC and allied BL., NC., along with PL forces skirmished in a string of systems on October 28th.

The battle started in 4-ABS8 and as it progressed spilled over into J-CIJV

BL, Nulli.and PL have been seen hunting together in search of good fights, quite a lot recently.  This was no exception.  A long term CFC presence in 4-ABS8 system in Pure Blind was the target of a coordinated strike from the opposition late Tuesday night.

With 4-ABS8 being within a few jumps of both highsec and lowsec, it has always been a system that people pass through on their way through certain areas of null. Pure Blind being right in the heart of GSF SOV, it's no coincidence that anti-CFC forces struck there.

The fight began when NC. and PL forces moved into the system presumably from a lowsec staging point,  And as more CFC forces came on grid, BL was called in to help.

The fight kicked off when CFC and S2N forces arrived on grid with the J-C stargate at roughly the same time: the CFC Tengu fleet landed at zero, while the S2N Cerberus fleet landed at a perch. Reagalan ordered interdictor bubbles deployed between the two fleets to keep S2N from retreating to J-C, and his fleet maneuvered to the side so that he could warp on top of the hostile force. S2N beat him to the punch, and the fight started when the S2N Cerberus gang warped in on him at zero. Antimatter was loaded in the CFC Tengus, and the order to tackle everything was given just as the CFC Cawk fleet, numbering approximately 100 pilots, arrived on grid about 50km away from the Cerberuses. Heavy losses among the Cawk fleet ensued, as dozens of assault frigates charged headlong into the fire of Rapid Light Missile Launchers to swarm the Cerberus gang and pin them down. Another broadcast went out to CFC jabber services for a Celestis fleet under Lemba.

As the fight escalated and the anti-CFC decided to evac it's forces, the battle was rejoin in the nearby system of J-CIJV when they were caught in gate camps.  With both sides suffering some major losses.  With several hundred pilots involved at the low end, the number and value of ships lost overall is a staggering more than 600 ships and  ~70 Billion ISK.




With all the changes in Null recently, from Kadeshi and NC. seizing former CFC SOV, and the BRAVE/PROVI war being called off, it was only a matter of time before someone tried to pull a mass op against the CFC to try and capitalize on their withdrawal from PB, Querious, and Delve.

Black Legion Phoebe Orders Leaked

On Saturday, 25th October 2014, an alliance meeting was called for Black Legion. to issue orders in preparation for Phoebe release on the 4th November 2014.

The first point made was that Infomorph Psychology and Synchronizing are to be trained to level 4 at least to make rapid movement across the universe easier and so that BL. can re-deploy quickly if required. It will help BL. retain a certain amount of mobility post patch and seems to be something a lot of the alliances are thinking of.

Orders also still stand for everyone to move everything to Tartoken by the 29th October, so that when the next move op happens, everyone will be moving from Tartoken with the cyno chain that will be supplied by BL.. As to where they are going, a document was released to BL. members that showed the pro’s and cons for regions including:

Curse - which would put BL. in the locality of INIT, HERO, PROVI and PL but may cause TZ issues and put them a long way from the CFC, if they are still going to try and take them down.

Lonetrek - which is nice and close to Jita and within hit range of a number of CFC regions and certain low-sec entities for content but any gains in CFC space would likely be temporary as CFC will probably turn up in force.

Venal - which is right in the middle of CFC space and would make for good content creation with lot’s of people to fight and there will be enough PVE content and moons to set up a good source of income. However this will make movements for caps difficult as all mid points would be in hostile space and PVP content would depend totally on CFC as no one else is around to fight or, if not blueballed by CFC, they will likely get blobbed when the CFC DO decide to fight. Also high potential for hellcamped stations by bored CFC members.

Fountain Core – close to ‘money moons’ which will either generate ISK for the alliance if flipped or generate fights if others come to defend. A number of outer CFC alliances would be close by. PVE content for individuals would be good through Angel and Serpentis missions as well as exploration. However this will need a mid point in hostile space for JF’s to get to high-sec and there is a low chance of either getting hellcamped by CFC or their local allies.

The document also asks four main questions:

Do BL. want to take SOV post Phoebe? 

Do BL. want to continue taking on the CFC blob, maybe without friends like the rest of N3 to help? 

Where will BL. find the most fun content?

Do BL. decide to take a easy option, like Lonetrek? Or a riskier strategy like moving out to Venal?

As to where they are going, it seems like BL. are looking either towards Fountain Core or Venal, once that is decided, with the help of an alliance vote, the BL. leadership have declared that this will be the alliance home for the foreseeable future.

BL. seems to have also come to terms with the fact that the old EvE ways will be dying after this patch and that the will need to adapt and improve in certain areas to help them be successful in what will soon be a totally new game of EvE. BL. have said they will stop looking at the entire universe and just focus themselves on certain regions and their local area. Hopefully this will increase their effectiveness as an alliance.

BL. leadership have promised that they do have a plan for the alliance for the long term. This will be unfolding over the weeks after the Phoebe patch and when they know what the new ‘occupancy affected SOV’ will entail.

Orders in regards to supers are to not sell them, infact the BL. orders are to buy as many as they can possibly get their hands on. Titans are prefered over supercapitals and Leviathans are the preferred titan of BL. at the moment.

Black Legion and CFC clash in HBD-CC

Over the past week, NPC Venal residents Out of Sight. (OOS) have been attacking various CFC-held towers in the region. Yesterday CFC alliance Circle-of-Two (CO2) caught them sieging a tower in 6W-HRH and dropped by to introduce themselves. Today a similar incident erupted into a brawl in HBD-CC between Black Legion. (BL) and CFC forces which incurred an estimated 26 billion ISK in losses among the involved parties.

Prior to the battle OOS dreads were spotted jumping out of their staging system by CO2 scouts and soon after attacking a RAZOR Alliance tower in HBD-CC. CO2 and CFC military leadership were made aware of the situation, and separate broadcasts went out to CO2 and to the greater CFC to form fleets at 17:53 EVE Time. While the CFC formed up a large Harpy fleet in its military capital YA0-XJ under Reagalan, CO2 assembled a dedicated tackling fleet of approximately 20-30 pilots, of whom only one got through the first bridge before the insertion cyno ship was destroyed.
While another CO2 cyno ship was en route to HBD-CC, the CFC Harpy fleet got set up on a titan in YA0-XJ and began moving its own cyno to D-SKWC - one jump out of HBD-CC, which itself was outside of titan range from YA0-XJ. Known to the CFC, but deemed irrelevant to the situation at hand, BL was in the middle of a planned State of the Alliance meeting with approximately 250 pilots logged into their staging system of Tartoken.

Cyno ships for both CO2 and the CFC eventually reached their target systems and at 18:02 EVE Time tackle was confirmed; CO2 interdictor pilot Zuquar Bonaparte had single handedly held down the OOS dreadnoughts for the better part of five minutes while evading hostile fire. The rest of the CO2 tackle fleet bridged in and promptly littered the field with interdiction spheres, guaranteeing the dreadnoughts would not escape. The CFC Harpy fleet, by now numbering approximately 180 pilots, arrived at 18:10 and began focus fire on the dreadnoughts one at a time. Reagalan directed fire first onto the two Moroses, which each took several minutes of sustained fire to kill. During that time CO2 members Sebastian Saintfruqsuin and gigX prepared their titan characters to execute drive-by doomsdays.
Sebastian jumped his Ragnarok in first at 18:22 and instantly destroyed a Naglfar before warping off to a safe spot. gigX followed two minutes later, also obliterating a Naglfar, but there were now combat probes on directional scan and BL cyno characters had entered local. In the time it had taken the CFC forces to kill the OOS dreadnoughts, BL had formed up a Tengu fleet led by Elo Knight and arrived to pounce on gigX's exposed Avatar.
The CFC Harpy fleet immediately engaged the BL Tengu fleet, focusing fire on their Scimitars, while the Tengu fleet promptly headshot Reagalan's FC character. Lyris Nairn took over the CFC Harpy fleet, contiuning to focus on BL support ships while sirens started blaring on CFC jabber and mumble services reporting the tackled titan. BL was reported to be forming a capital fleet and supercapital forces from Northern Coalition(dot) and Pandemic Legion were reported logging in. BL lit a cyno on grid and a single triage carrier made it on grid before the cyno ship was destroyed; meanwhile, heavy TiDi was reported in YA0 due to the number of pilots logging in. The CFC was marshaling its own capital and supercapital forces as well as forming up additional subcapital fleets: a Baltec fleet under Dabigredboat and a Celestis fleet under Reagalan, who had been podded during the fight.

BL and CFC subcapital forces continued to brawl near the tackled titan over the next several minutes while pilots all across EVE were being urged to pile into fleets in preparation for what might have easily escalated into a huge supercapital slugfest. Whether due to temperance or lack of confidence, that fight never came. Instead, the CFC capital fleet led by kcolor arrived on grid to engage the BL tengus and the tackled titan's doomsday timer came off cooldown whereupon the BL triage Chimera was promptly destroyed. Having lost most of its logistics and its second FC during the brawl, as well as suffering from an AFK fleet member having errantly received fleet boss, the CFC Harpy fleet disengaged and fled the field to regroup while the CFC capital fleet cleaned up. In the time it took for the CFC Harpy fleet to warp off, reassemble in a safe spot, and arrive back on grid - with Lyris Nairn now in a fleet member's borrowed Harpy - the BL tengus had also fled the field and were reported to be going home. The CFC Harpy fleet remained on grid to cover the extraction of the titan, then of the capital fleet, before also heading home via the CFC jump bridge network.

PL Resets S2N & Other N3 Alliances, Kills N3 Caps

Pandemic Legion, long-time Nulli Secunda ally and N3 associate, has reset their relations to neutral with almost the entirety of the N3 coalition outside of the Drone Regions.

That's non-drones N3 renters. They are free game for subcaps, caps, supers and titans. We've also told N3 proper alliances (nulli, kadeshi, darkness etc) that we are now weapons-free on their supers.

PL pilots have been quick to take advantage of this massive swath of the galaxy being opened up to hunting. N3 capital ships are appearing on the PL killboard - here's just a sampling: Archon, Anshar, Archon. Ender Hawk of Sniggerdly has gone on a particularly successful spree.


Clearly, Pandemic Legion is planning on ushering in Phoebe with a bang. It remains to be seen just how their reset of one of EVE's largest coalitions will shake up the political map.

It seems that PL's intent to return to "fuck everything" merc group is rather clear as of now.  They seem to be as deadset as possible on shaking up the stagnation in NullSec.

Black Legion stands against CFC in YA0-XJ

A skirmish has broken out in YA0-XJ wherein Black Legion stands against CFC on it's own.  And as one would expect, chaos has ensued.  Current totals stand at ~19 Billion ISK in losses for both sides. With 72 ships lost for BL, while the CFC has lost 278.  Nearly half the standing forces involved appear to have been destroyed.

(UPDATE: Since time of writing, it appears as though BL has been taking steady losses, with over 13 Billion ISK out of the 21 Billion total lost between both sides.)

It appears as though GSF members were ratting in the system when BL decided that it was time to jump on them and try to score a quick win.  The CFC reacted by trying to bring in overwhelming force.

All these Alliances where arrayed against BL, and it appears that BL though losing in terms of ISK lost has scored a moral victory of sorts.By exploiting apparent mistakes by GSF members to bloody their nose in a staging system.  Although most of the CFC losses appear to be due to pilots reshipping and rejoining the fight repeatedly after being killed.
